I started Poppy & Pea after nearly seven years of working as a nanny myself. During that time, I saw first-hand how difficult it can be for families to find reliable, kind, and enthusiastic nannies who are not only competent but genuinely love what they do.
I also spent over a year working in an Early Childhood Education centre while continuing to nanny, which gave me valuable experience in a classroom setting. But I realised that what I truly love is combining what I learned in the classroom with one-on-one care for children and building real, meaningful relationships with families.
I also experienced how challenging it can be as a nanny to connect with the right families on your own. With Poppy & Pea, our goal is to bridge that gap bringing together wonderful nannies and beautiful families to create trusted, lasting connections.
Poppy & Pea is a boutique nanny placement agency designed to bring warmth, reliability, and genuine care into family life. We know that the very best nannies aren’t just experienced and qualified, they love what they do. They get down on the floor to play, share stories, and nurture children with heart.
Our role is to make finding the right match simple and stress-free, pairing families with nannies who fit naturally into their home and building trusted relationships that last.

Every nanny is police checked, holds a valid Working With Children Check, has completed first aid training and has completed a comprehensive interview process. We value nannies who have the knowledge, skills and practical experience to provide quality care. We believe in ongoing learning and creating a strong foundation for every nanny in our community.
We believe great nannies are attentive, emotionally aware and responsive to each child's individual needs.
